Seriously though, I obviously have no clue your situation, but I'll share this short story that kind of relates.
I met this really old couple a few years back when I had to bring my grandma to the doctor. They were both in their 90s. They had been together for like 70 years or something and around 60-something of those years were marriage. We started talking and they started giving me some life advice, like a lot of elderly people do. One thing they said that stuck with me since, was never go to sleep mad at each other, fighting or even having a little disagreement. They said not only does it hurt the relationship, but also adds unnecessary stress on each other's life. They said that anytime they had a disagreement that wasn't resolved in a reasonable time, they would wait a little bit, let their heads cool off and talk it out before they went to bed, regardless of how long it took. They just said it made their relationship/marriage one of the happiest components of their life.
Said they came to an agreement to do that after a couple of years of dating. They said it came about after a long argument over something stupid. They were fighting for days over something small, but when they finally resolved it, they were drained from the fighting and that's how the agreement came about.
Anyways, I know "CSB" and all that, blah blah blah. I'm just laying down bored and was reminded of that bc of your post. I thought it was pretty solid life advice, for everyone to use really.
