I bet Cleveland and golden state to cover with the over tonight. If Houston could hit a basket o would have hit on it.

I can tell you that I finished a trial a few weeks ago and I said that I really wanted a Dewars on the rocks and a Marlboro red to celebrate.
I miss it sometimes but don't regret that I stopped. It's been over 22 years, and I can still remember the feeling of standing at a bar after a 3 day jury trial win and taking that first sip of scotch. The warm feeling and the tingle that started in my toes and went all the way to the top of my head was pretty damn good.
It"s best that I don't start up again though. I miss the Marlboros too.

Isn’t weed legal in DC?
That would almost be like killing two birds.
But without the blackouts and feeling like crap the next day.
Smoke up, Johnny!

I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy Skillet.
My mom has breast cancer that has spread to her bones and liver. It's unfortunate but will be the cause of her death. She is in her 50s. Too young for it.

It is what it is. We've always had a rough relationship but I hate it for her. She is going to MD Anderson though, so couldn't ask for better doctors.

My grandma got 4 years we didn’t think she’d havebthanks to them. I’m hoping for a good outcome for y’all.

Thank you. Her doctor said there is no cure once it spreads. We are just buying time. But I'll take 4 years.
Anyways on to a happier topic.

I think it is, but I'm not going that route. First, because it's still a federal crime (I can't not support sanctuary cities and then say that D.C. law trumps federal law on the issue). Second, because I really didn't like it when I tried it many years ago (although I was drunk when I tried it). Third, I hear it's much stronger than the stuff I tried in the mid 70s and early 80s.
I have, however, toyed with the idea that if I get some disease and I am told there's no cure, I'm going to drink scotch and smoke Marlboros again.
ETA: I just read HC's posts and I apologize if my post above sounds insensitive. It is not meant to be so.
