What do people do in BR when LSU isn’t playing a home football game?

I made the best out of BR living in Overpass area and GTFO after graduating. Seems like you either settle down at 25 in BR or get fat and go to Ivars every weekend.

what is it about women born and raised in the burbs of central, zachary, and denham springs that makes them think they are goddesses? I really don't get it. Chicks from other parts of the states....and plenty out of state (where my wife is from) are fine, but its something about those chicks from the BR burbs that they think their shite doesn't stink.

It’s how their parents raised them. Their parents raised them always trying to be the “cool parents” when the kids were in high school, always trying to one up the neighbors/parent friends with pool parties with alcohol, beach trips with alcohol, new cars for the kids, etc. I’ve seen it first hand so I’m speaking from experience.

I’ve always thought a lot of the lower tier srat girls at LSU thought WAY too highly of themselves... at least during my time there.

They acted like hot old money southern belles but were chunky and blue collar/middle class. Never linked it to being a BR suburb thing, but you might be on to something.

Was born in Louisiana and have lived in both cities as an adult. The answer is get the hell out of Louisiana.

Is this really even a debate? It's New Orleans.

It's absolutely a debate.

I moved here (Baton Rouge) in my mid 20's. I met far more people here than I did during my college years in New Orleans.

Baton Rouge and Nola are also two completely different worlds. Baton Rouge felt way more accommodating socially for someone in their 20's than did New Orleans.

Most of us on this board worked all through high school and college, but that’s not how it is out there in the suburbs of BR and really a lot of places nowadays, especially when it comes to girls who are 16-19. Instead of making their kids get a job when they were 16-19, their parents let them to do all the stuff I said in my other post, which also includes just laying around all day tanning in the backyard or driveway or by the pool.

If you're living for the poon it's Baton Rouge. Then New Orleans the closer you get to 30.

After 25-26 you're kinda too old to be hanging at the college scene and sorority chicks are harder to come by. That's where New Orleans comes into play around 26-29
