It’s ridiculously expensive to live there. Should be making north of $200k if you want a decent place. Water bills can run well over $500 a month there

San Diego is incredible. Maybe my favorite city to visit in the US.

I just can’t imagine the place being as crappy as the post in the linked thread. I’m looking forward to my visit.
Then again, I can stay entertained and able to overlook the shitty things in pretty much any big city for a short time.

Like I said, living somewhere is different than visiting
I had visited San Diego for a week in 2008 and loved it.
I enjoy visiting NYC, but could never live there.
