THIS!

It's like you're asking us "do I want peace, or to be constantly fricking annoyed?"

I'm 29 and currently looking for a roommate. I'm starting a new career and not making enough money to justify living on my own. My married friends will say what they want, but they have 2 post college incomes paying their note, I don't. Would I like to live on my own? You bet, but it's not feasible for me at this point in my life.

You're obviously old enough and mature enough to make your own decisions.

The answer is there is no magic age at which someone must live alone.

Life comes at you fast!

I had a young whippersnapper complaining to me recently about how much moving sucks...he's in college. Ya buddy, try moving when you have a big house, all of your wife's shite, and a couple 2 year olds...and oh yea, I'm old and out of shape and not 22 any more.

I think I was 24 when I'd had enough. 4 of us lived behind our bail bonds office. I'd imagine it'll differ for each person when they'd have enough of the roommate life

Most of the people my age (27-29) with no SO that live in Charlotte / Charleston / Atlanta all have roommates because a decent 1 br is stupid expense.

I'm 28 and thinking it's time to find my own place

Sometimes it comes around full cycle... buy a house for chissakes. I was done with roommates at 19. Bought my first house...on the LSU Lakes... at 25.. I kept my next 5 houses and turned them into rental...3 wives later... retired early. Bought an 8000 sq' building with some buddies who used to be roommates and tuned it into "the lodge". A place to play cards, entertain "whoever" we want, and crash if necessary... But 28??, by all mean buy a fricken' house.

why are you worried what TD will think of you?

can you afford a nice place?
are you saving to buy a house?

what's your big picture?

at your age I founded the Edna Schwartz Memorial Commune
best parties ever
sex
an assortment of drugs
too many cats
low rent. I got a nice car and vacations. saved a down payment for house
