In the cop’s defense the lady he said the “you aren’t guaranteed a polite stop” to was asking him if he could smoke a cigarette and then asked him for a light. So he said sarcastically, “sure would you like a ride home too, is there anything else we can do for you tonight?l
As a non-smoker I guess I don’t fully comprehend the addiction, but it seems like the first thing everyone asks when they get stopped is “can I smoke a cigarette?” What’s the deal with this, genuinely curious.

I don’t do reddit but I know that the average person doesn’t really understand what goes on after dark & what some of these cops, firemen & EMS workers witness

West Baton Rouge Sheriffs Department allowed a handcuffed suspect to briefly escape a few years back. Poor bastard was arrested on Interstate 10 near 415 by Narcotics Highway Interdiction and decided to jump in front of a passing semi while cuffed behind his back.
