Is it me? I've read where Dan Abrams is a typical, "mainstream media" type. He must live in a bubble as he gets so excited and incredulous over stuff that happens out on the streets. I mean look at his reaction to the O.D. at Burger King last night.Yes, that's a huge, serious thing, and it boggles the mind that the guy is OK tonight.
But Dan, for a legal reporter/anchor, it's as if he hasn't seen anything in his life. I know I haven't, I'm sheltered, but this guy....

Dan Abrams has been in the "mainstream media" for something like 20 years now. His resume is pretty deep.
His sister is a federal judge and his dad is a notable First Amendment lawyer.
I'm sure he has seen plenty of stuff but is just doing his best to build up the excitement on slow nights on this show.
