They stopped because he may or may not have been drinking and might, at some point in the future attempt to drunkenly operate a movable.
Since he may, at some point in the future, commit a crime, his car must be searched. A handgun was found, justifying the stop and search. It is a good thing that they removed his ability to possibly commit a crime at some point in the future, had he chosen to do so.

I heard that and thought it was a digital sound effect, leading them to a commercial. We will have to notice if they do it again. These commercials shoud run to 11:48 and the next set starts at 11:51. We can see if they do it again.

I sometimes giggle a little inside when the producers cutaway from those scenes abruptly. It's as if they do not want the blatant 4A cases to get people discussing what is airing.
