While the Essence festival is subsidized to the tune of like $850k a year. Gravy is such a hypocrite.

Baton Rouge is neither rural nor south. Although we are pretty racist.

That $38,000 definitely didn't come from north Baton Rouge, so I'd say all white bands is fair if we're basing it off of who actually paid for it.

Downtown Development probably can't wait until the new power brokers force through a rap night. That sort of event will really lend itself to more business and residents moving downtown.

and its not even all white bands....there is a black dude featured in one of the shows....actually looks pretty good and I may have to go check it out
