Good, because what Paul taught is not what Jesus taught.

I’ve never hurled a tomato at a “preacher” but there’s a first time for everything.

If Jesus could have knocked Saul off his horse and temporarily blinded him in order to get his attention, I’m certain Jesus could have taken him out the game if Paul misrepresented Jesus and the gospel.

I’m interested in your examples of St. Paul’s misrepresentations.

Campus ministry is the perfect place for her as she/they hit several of the indoctrination buzzwords and talking points.

“Elle Dowd (she/they) is a bi-furious pastor who preaches, writes and teaches about God’s desire to liberate us from the things we use to oppress each other: cis-heterosexism, racism, ableism, queerphobia, colonialism, misogyny, childism, capitalism and white supremacy.

She believes we must deconstruct the harmful systems infecting the Christian Church and other American institutions, that a queer/femme interpretation of scripture is at the center of grace, and all bodies – including yours – are beautifully and wonderfully made. “

The Catholics were right. Women shouldn't be priests.

They can spout moronic opinions and diddle kids just fine as teachers.

Because not everyone takes Bart Ehrman as gospel.

Ok. So the statements were just wiring because they were wrong? And because not everyone takes Bart Ehrman as gospel. Got it.

Well, Ehrman alleges that the pastoral letters were second century forgeries despite the fact that we have St. Polycarp quoting from them verbatim in the year AD 110. Polycarp personally knew the Apostle John and probably had interactions with other disciples from the Apostolic Age. One would assume that he would be in a position to know what was genuine and what was forged. We also have St. Irenaeus, a student of Polycarp's, writing toward the end of the second century telling us that these 13 letters of Paul are all genuine. We also have first, second, and third century evidence for their authenticity from works/authors such as the Didache, St. Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, and Origen.

The evidence outside the Bible lends credence to their Pauline authorship. Ehrman relies too much on textual criticism.

With Adam a close second.

And anyway -- somebody had to be The First Sinner / "Screw-up" (out of a conga line of billions of humans who were all eventually going to be tempted
and committed to Sin against God).

I’m a girl and I agree

As for the Adam & Eve thing - it’s Adam’s sin because he was supposed to protect Eve. (God said so)

Which is why women can’t make decisions - they’re not suppose to
