They were supposed to replace the LC with a new "halo" coupe for 2027 and it was rumored to be all electric. The LFR is what they settled for and it will be a hybrid V8, twin turbo in the "How f*cking much?" range.

So, the top tier "reasonable" Lexus is left with only the LX (with the problematic powerplant).

Otherwise, just a bunch of mundane cookie cutter SUVs with little of the old Lexus spirit.
