The Puerto Rican guy isn't the OP. That's a fricked up situation though. Honestly, I'd bail even with the kids in play. There are some things that I wouldn't be able to get past.

THIS. Had an 820 credit and that is no longer the case. It is absolutely sick how someone can do that to you in two months. Don’t be surprised what someone will do to hurt you, even when it’s to their own detriment, as well.

OP, hang in there. I’ve been through 4 of these now and they get a little easier every time. My last one was only 3 months in when she dropped the hammer on me. She’s dating some Air Force chick now stationed at Barksdale. Just remember it’s not your fault. They have something wrong with them such as my last being a lesbian.

That’s what happened to me with the 2nd. She paid bought 2 plane tickets and a week long vacation on my card and took the guy she was leaving me for then called me right before stepping on the plane and told me she wanted a divorce.

Yeah, my SO got fricked on two medical bills in his name for their daughter (they were all on his insurance too) that she claimed she had been paying on but didn’t. And a credit card that she maxed out before he could get it shut off.

I did give up for the past couple years but I’ve recently reconnected with my first wife and one true love. The main reason the 2nd and 3rd didn’t workout is because I still haven’t gotten over the first. I kept trying to see new women and move on because I thought there was no way we could ever be together again. She moved to Europe for the past 8 years but she moved back around Christmas and we’ve been seeing each other again. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but it’s really hard because I’ve been hoping for this scenario for almost a decade.

This. Not paying the bills they were responsible for and me not finding that out until collection agencies began calling my phone. Once that happens the account is already derogatory.

And sabotaging in other ways. Like going to the former martial domicile (where no one was living) that was for sale, purposely wrecking it (in disgusting ways) that sent potential buyers’ realtor calling mine to share how disgusted their buyers were. Like I said. They’ll do things to hurt you even to their own financial and emotional detriment.
