Nah, I am fit, look young for almost 38, am happy, laid back about maybe too many things (except work, when I am actually there 8-5). I drink wine and just enjoy a comfortable and quiet life.

I just hit 30 in October. Life's great! You should be old enough and mature enough to know what you like and to do it without worrying about other people

was a joke Paige, you're doing it right, love/enjoy what you have, and compete only with yourself(to OP)

I'm 32 and about to get a travel trailer to pull around the USA to visit friends, family, and meet chicks. I'm no closer to the meaning of life than day 1.

Huge jump in life between X0-X8 (20 v. 28, 30 v. 38). You won't recognize yourself in 8 years. And it typically gets better.

30 too young to have a mid-life crisis

Quite reading facebook and you'll be better off in life.

I partied my arse off at 30 and made my first million at 38!

I have a question for all of you who are over 30 years old. Go back to when you were exactly 30 years old. What was your life like at that particular age? Were you where you wanted to be in life? Were you in the job/career that you always wanted? Were you married with kids? Were you a home-owner? I ask because I currently am 30 years old and honestly feel like I haven’t achieved much compared to my peers who are the same age. I have a decent life but wonder if I’m far behind in the race. This may be a silly question, but is 30 too young to have a mid-life crisis?

I’m 25 so I can’t speak from experience. However, one of my father’s favorite sayings is “get a room full of 100 people, and if everybody threw their problems up in the air, you’d better hope you come down with your own.”

Everybody’s got issues with inadequacy from time to time. It’s not more than you can handle though, if you don’t let it handle you.

Did you add together all of your previous paychecks?

Joking! Congrats

The best advice in this thread is don't compare yourself to other people.

I am 31, married with two kids, house paid for and a business owner BUT we had our first child, unplanned, at 23. So, while my 31st year has been a really great one, I had to settle down, learn a lot, and give up a lot of good Mid 20 years to make this happen.
Life your life. It is not a race and everyone's is written differently

I just turned 30 a few months ago. Nobody told me about how empty things would feel. That's the tough part.

I had all of those things and I didn’t think about was it where I was supposed to be because I knew it was. Kids and a mortgage grounds the frick out of you. I didn’t compare my life to anyone else’s because that had no impact on my situation. It was what it was.

To be honest, I cannot pin it down. I love what I do. My family and I get on great despite strong differences. I have only a few friends, but they are A + friends.

That is what hurts. Nothing is wrong and I cannot pin it down.
