Yeah except the studies I've seen is plenty of poor whites also live near shitty areas. It's an economic thing, not race thing.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but it is a real term used in the literature. Which was my only point.
Also, a lot of those studies show little difference in the occurance of cancers or other long term illnesses based on living in close proximity to many of those facilities.

That's called living in a stupid place. It has nothing to do with anything but the fact that they know they will get destroyed by hurricanes every couple years, yet they live there anyway
