What movement did the parked vehicle make that would cause you to question that it might be at fault?

You either stop and wait for them to move or you drive around them when the other lane is clear. DO NOT attempt to drive through the parked vehicle. Hope this helps

An answer to my question? More curious than anything and I couldnt find anything online. Car is gone and insurance already took care of me with that. It's literally over with.

From my experience, yes. I would get in contact with your insurance company and explain to them what you told us. You’re probably looking at receiving around $10k give or take
