I always wonder to what degree do ads like these HELP business? Is there a large untapped LGBTSHU.... market just dying to be tapped? To me, it seems like the risk of pushing away customers would be greater than the potential gain of new customers.
Or, is the rationale that the company knows the ad will anger some, thus causing them to express that anger, which in turn will drive the virtue signalers to by more Sprite out of spite?
