Leveling my F-150. Should I expect a big difference in the way it rides?

I'm sure it won't be as smooth but I'm worried it will ride rough.

You gonna be one of them baws with the nose way up in the air when you’re hauling a boat? If so, invest in truck nutz

Make sure you jack the back up enough to accommodate the weight of the truck nuts, baw.

I do not think mine rides rough, but then again its a truck.

If you want to maintain factory ride, get a camburg leveling kit with new A-arms.

Thanks. Apperently, there's a lot of fem dudes on here that don't care for trucks.

It won’t be too much of a difference.

Make sure to adjust your headlights after too.

Done that to several trucks.

It’s not really the leveling kit that causes the issues. I found it was more the tires.

If your truck comes with decent size tires already, stick with them. I know the desire to put 33s on the truck will come with the level kit but it will ride 10 times smoother with what you got.

And no, i doesn’t look silly if the truck is 4 wheel drive. If it’s only 2 wheel drive and has basic road tires and the smaller wheel package, then yeah, a level kit without larger tires will look dumb

My last truck was leveled. Having a level truck was not worth looking like a douche while hauling a boat or trailer.

I put 33s on my truck with no level.

A lot lower considering all the weight from the pussy that's going to be hanging off it

Eta: are you a junior or senior in high school this year? Hope you're having a great semester!

4wd and just put on new Michelins. 275/65/18. Definetly won't be adding bigger tires. I've seen a few leveled with the same size tires and it looks good.

No, but please re-aim or get your headlights re-aimed. Even in a 4x4 250 I get blinded by every leveled truck coming at me without re-aimed headlights.

Keep in mind, your truck will look really stupid if you ever haul any weight / tow anything.

It’s gonna be the envy of the whole trailer park.

Great advice. I didn't think of the headlights. And yes I don't want it squatted when hauling. May just raise or 1 1/2 instead of 2 1/2 or something like that.

That's what truck nuts were originally for. You can jack the front up to level it or just hang some weight off the back to pull the bed down to get it level. The nuts were originally made of lead to pull the bed down.
