If it looks just like a regular house fly then that's a stable fly.
If it the size and shape of a house fly but golden color then you got a yellow fly.

So it's a deer fly. no worse this year, to me.

they swarm the side mirrors on our car as we approach/leave the house

wife can't walk the neighborhood until it cools off, now.

I got a shite ton in central Alabama. They are aggressive. Never seen as many until this summer.
