M4s that they got over there would be military standard issues, not SOCOM shite. They aren't fully automatic. If they were, that would be good anyways, as I don't see where the Taliban plans on getting 5.56 from. Now, it is possible to convert a standard issue m4 to being fully automatic.

The US Army began converting all M4 std issue rifles to M4A1s in 2013. They now all have heavier barrels and select fire with full auto selection. Thanks to Biden’s embargo on Russian arms and ammo, there will be tons of Wolf and Tulla 5.56 out there.
