I agree. I think porn should be seen as a sorta "last resort" for people who can't get laid.

As for people who get addicted to it: there are people who have addictive personalities. They can turn anything into a drug because they need a crutch to lean on. Whether it's alcohol, porn, drugs, kinky sex, porn, food, food porn, gambling, kinky drunk gambling food porn, ect they will turn to that vice for comfort because they have a hole that needs to be filled. For those people, they need to:

Study their habits: learn what triggers their urges
Take time away: Try quitting their addiction cold turkey for a short time to see how they feel without it.
Turn their own life around: there is something missing in their life to cause them to be addicted, whether it's intimacy, career, loneliness, depression, anxiety, ect. They need to focus on improving themselves so that they can fill that addictive hole with something more healthy.
Do more for others: Whether it's volunteering, reconnecting with family or old friends, or getting involved with professional organizations. The more one gives their time to others, the less desire they will have for their addictions.
Be happy with yourself: love yourself and yourself will love you. If you are truly happy with who you are, you won't need your addictions to make you feel better. Plus, that added confidence will help get you laid so you won't have to fap.
