Nothing was "taken" as much as it was allowed to be taken.
We should be asking why stuff was allowed to be taken.

Ideally Antifa should be handled by legitimate law enforcement. But as history shows us, whenever an extreme element of either the left or right rises, the other side follows to counter it.

Going back to post-WWI Germany, directly following the abdication of the Kaiser, German Socialists and Communists saw their opportunity to seize power. To counter this the Freikorps began to emerge to combat increasing leftist violence. The end result was the Nazis. I pray we here in America do not repeat Germany’s mistakes.
