I was always into girls, but the first real crush was my 4th grade teacher. What made me want her more than anything was I was a go-getter and there was nothing I could do to make it happen.

Been married 35 years. Never cheated never will, but crushes still happen occasionally!

First one was in the second grade. I don’t think I knew what those vibes were all about at that age, but I acted a fool to impress her.

I couldn’t be more pleased that every single crush got away, while my wife settled for me.

Totally agree. Earlier post in thread tells the story of my first crush, but my high school crush will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was a freshman at an all-boys school, and she was a freshman in our sister school. I met her when we were involved in a school play: she was the star and I was a chump. Sophomore year, I had become the stage manager and she had a smaller part in the first play of the year. We talked a bit backstage during the performance, so I thought things were going well. She was going to be a major role in the next play but it was cancelled for some reason. Of course, that was when I was planning to make my move because performances would be a couple weeks after I got my drivers license. Then poof; she was gone. No longer active in the drama club. Nothing.

After wasting my entire high school time brooding over her, I finally got the courage to write her a letter trying to set up a date. I got a letter back saying, "I don't remember you...Have fun in college."

Been decades now, and I have a great marriage. But I still think of her fondly.

So, what about the rest of the fine people on tO-T Lounge? What's your story?

Almost all of them ended up fat, aged horribly, and live miserable lives. Meanwhile my wife is hot AF.

I win.

Also side note on crushes. When you are in your 20’s and thirsty, and then you find out years later a cute chick had a crush on you.

^This, and I was such an unaware dumbass that I didn't pick up signals. There were a couple girls that I'd flirt and play around with at school. Back then I had no idea at the time they were even interested.
