where deeply religious people give up red meat on Ash Wednesday and Fridays. They then sacrifice by eating JUST a dozen chargrilled oysters and deluxe fried seafood platters on these days of deep thought ..

What's funny are those that never go to Mass...but they are sure to not eat meat on Fridays..and let you know it... because they want to be a good Catholic

compared to legit holidays.

Like a holiday that celebrates someone dying or returning from the dead? Much more legit holiday ideas.

That seafood salad stuff? Yeah, I've had it. I like the tuna fish better, though.

When you give someone the sign of peace, do you genuinely wish peace upon them, or do you simply mumble the words and shake their hands, then turn your attention to the wafer and possibly a sip of wine?

Yeah but you are still a practicing Catholic. I'm talking ones that never go to church and just say "Oh yeah I'm Catholic" cause their parents are.

Out here I imagine the Mexicans eat fish tacos, ceviche, and a bunch of bean burritos on Fridays.
