Would you drive 4 light years to get to Bogalusa ? Why would advanced aliens travel hundreds or thousands of light years just to see a planet full of crazy, dangerous people?

In all seriousness, you have no idea what they would do. They could be far more superior intelligent (lets be honest, it wouldn't take much) than we are).
They could know more about us than we do.
We could be no use to them.
Or they could have created is and we are nothing more than an experiment to them.
