Question though, how often should I have it serviced? I've had it about 2 years now.

When it dies or every 10 years.

Unless you are a stickler for that crap. Service is expensive. I paid $500 for a battery change once. Never again. They go in when they break. With that said, I never put mine in water. If you put it in water, you should have it checked regularly

Burge. Casio G-shock or Marathon.

It's gotten dunked a couple times when fishing and swimming. Would that warrant sooner service frequency?

Not too bad, figured you'd pick a Luminox (have one) Suunto or a G-Shock...

Actually looking at a Marathon JSAR and putting a leather zulu on it.

Point taken

It's been in the pool a few times, and I'm more of a floater than a swimmer. My arms don't get wet.

Gonna have to be thin leather and it's gonna look funny on that big arse watch.

Those are the obvious. I wanted something outside of the box so I picked an aviation watch. Marathon is always high on my list for military

My father has a couple of really nice watches. I wish I had pictures of them for you to look at and tell me what you think.

Just had my Marathon repaired. The small tritium vials fell off. Got it back and another one fell off.

Have y'all seen this new Rolex?
