Let me explain to you why this hire for LSU is the worst possible outcome

Because everyone who criticizes the hire will be labeled a racist while totally ignoring the fact that no one cares what color this guys skin is. We care that his critical race theory polices are pure garbage and I criticize every white person pushing it too.
But it will only be reported that we are upset because he is black. The woke left will see that as confirmation that the majority of LSU fans are racist just like they thought.
And the opposing sides become even more entrenched making unity impossible.
Just an awful hire, and I know they could have found a black professor who doesn’t believe in CRT.

If such a direction was inevitable, which I think is fairly reasonable, given today's academic environment - is it not better for this to happen now, rather than later?
The clear disgust and reaction to this hire by you good folks - most of whom, I assume, are LSU graduates and some form of donor class - means that a line can be drawn in the sand, rather than slowly be blurred. Y'all know about the frog in the pot.

I know enough about it to know as soon as I see it that anyone who is advocating for it is certifiably nuts.
Go read some of his papers on critical race theory and education. He goes off on tangents about capitalism. WHY?
