Well buddy he's a public servant that was deemed to be fit to represent. They obviously fricked up in doing so, so they have to pay. You'd do the same thing if you saw that kind of money in front of you.

This.
The altercation (if any) would occur from me leering at them.

The only one that should have been sued was the cop who harassed them.
After they were charged (by the DA's office) and spent 3 days in jail, they weren't allowed to leave Hawaii. They ran out of money and had to sleep on park benches. They lost their jobs. Lots of people fricked up here, and all worked for the city or state. I wouldn't go through all that for $26,400 each after attorney's fees.

Should have been cited for "public display of extreme hotness" imo

Dude, yes you would if it caused you to lose your livelihood. Its not like they k we the monetary damages before filing the suit.

No, but they're both cute.

No, I wouldn't, buddy. He's a public servant representing himself. The city is not liable unless he's been justifiably in trouble before and they didn't fire him.

They don't fit the stereotype of most lesbians.

The OP without a link
The cops word that he was assaulted was obviously believed by the DA.

Harrison, during the March 2015 fracas at the store, also confronted Wilson and Guerrero at a checkout stand, telling them to get out of the line, according to their lawsuit against the officer and the city and county of Honolulu.
Eric Seitz, an attorney for the two women, has said the officer initiated a physical altercation with them and that they struck back at him. The women, who were vacationing from California, were arrested for assault. The charges were later dropped

You do know that being a public servant means you are always representing the city while on duty right?
Posted on 5/22/16 at 1:34 pm to whatiknowsofar
Of course I know that, and it's stupid. The game is to go after the big bucks. You do know that, right?
And the city is your wallet that's being raided. You do know that, right?

I'm pretty sure I don't pay any taxes for Hawaii.
And 80 grand after they both lost their jobs seems fair to me.
That cop also knows he's representing the city. 80 grand isn't a whole lot to lose for a vacation place like that.

You claimed that an agent of the government acting in his professional capacity is not an agent of the government and I was merely mocking you for that ridiculous notion.
Posted on 5/22/16 at 3:07 pm to tigerpimpbot
I mean I learned this shite in public school civics. It's easy to understand.
Posted on 5/22/16 at 4:39 pm to tigerpimpbot
I did not claim that an agent of the government acting in his professional capacity is not an agent of the government. If you reread my post you will see that. I stated that the agent should be the one responsible for his actions and not the government that employs him if his actions are not how he was trained by the government. That is not ridiculous. The law is the way it is because it was written by lawyers for their monetary benefit.

Congratulations on your research.
edit
Not saying vicarious liability is not a fact. Just my opinion is that it's BS if agent is acting outside of his training.
