Russia has better leaders than this country.

You get what you voted for

Damn bro. Triggered much?

Well you are a Ragin Cajun and you lil cajun shorties do get mad down there. It’s ok though. I get it. I mean, I’d be ragin too, if I couldn’t beat ULM and LSU.

Imagine finally leaving Louisiana just to move to Mississippi

The irony in this statement is that Mississippi has a better quality of life than does Louisiana.
And we did it to ourselves.

Nola is the outlier. We actually gained population. Unfortunately it's mostly tax and cost of living refugees from blue states up north.

I heard Landry is going to subsidize and incentivize LA residents moving to Texas and Georgia like they did after Katrina.

They’ll eventually realize that Holly Beach is calling them home.

I hope the majority of that 105K were on welfare.

Good riddance.

Pre pandemic there were no energy jobs in hill country. It was a retirement area and bikers/rednecks.

cool going from 50 to 49 is so great. If you’re making a big move might as well move somewhere worth it

Not sure why anybody would move out of state to a liberal city and have their kids indoctrinated with these crazy/ignorant liberal beliefs.

No thanks.

The real reason people leave Louisiana is white flight and liberal government policies.

I would only move to somewhere that never sees 100°+ temps. Texas has always seemed great but they fried this year like we did.

Gulf Shore/Orange Beach and Pensacola was a bit cooler than BTR this year but friends in western North Carolina lived an easy summer.

If I left LA it would probably be for TX or FL with Colorado being an outlier.

I'd rather go somewhere with different weather and terrain.
