Seriously, the answer is Louisiana. The whole fricking state is a shithole and it is even worse with your stupid mask mandates.
We know Louisiana is one of the most fricked up, but the question was least memorable. For one reason or another Louisiana is pretty memorable.

Dakotas, flip a coin. I can never remember which one has Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Fargo, Sioux Falls, Badlands, Teddy National Forest, which one is flat vs hilly, which one has no income tax, which one has certified GMILF Governor ( THERE ARE RULES LINK)

But if I had to pick one, its ND due to its flat geography... or is that SD that is so flat next to Nebraska?

Kansas and it’s not even close. Shiftiest rectangle in all of geometry. Toll roads everywhere for no reason. Iowa would be a distant second

You've never even been to Kansas. There is one toll road in the entire state.

I knew Kansas was going to be a popular answer in this thread, especially among people who have never been to Nebraska. If you can't take driving across Kansas then do not try to drive between Grand Island and Valentine, Nebraska. There are county seats in counties almost the size of Rhode Island with populations of under 300 people there. It's not easy to defend Kansas in these types of questions but at least we do have more people than prairie dogs living here. Plus I've never seen a motel in Kansas with signs posted everywhere reminding people there is no bird cleaning allowed in the rooms.

The herd instinct is strong in CA, dumbest state there is, of anywhere I've been.

Iowa is the correct answer.

Iowa is Nebraska with covered bridges.

No way. Spearfish and Deadwood are some of the coolest towns in a beautiful area.

Spearfish has world class fly fishing. I love it there and am looking to buy a vacation home in that area.

“ That involved crossing the whole state of Rhode Island. All I saw were a bunch of Dunkin Donuts places, some woods, then Providence, which looked kinda shitty from the interstate.”

Excellent description of Rhode Island. While there are pretty cool spots along the coast, that accurately depicts 99% of the state. Rhode Island gets my vote, too. And I live here.

Not for long, though. We’re looking at properties in New Hampshire. Pretty state, less populated, no income tax, and better gun laws than most of New England.

You are halfway right. Vermont and Maine.

I've driven through just about every inch of Nebraska at one time or another and it's 10x better than Iowa or Kansas. Omaha is an underrated major city and is better than anything Iowa or Kansas have to offer.

Other than the song, what the f*ck does West Virginia have going for itself? It’s literally just the hillbilly part of what used to be northwestern Virginia.
West Virginia is beautiful. Get off the interstate.

Nebraska at least has Omaha (a decent, underrated town) and Lincoln. Western Nebraska actually has some nice scenery as well (pictured below). I saw nothing noteworthy while traveling through Kansas.
