This fact along with fear of wokeism and negative MSM exposure is what is driving many large corporations to jump head long into ESG and DEI initiatives.

Companies have to squeeze the quarter till the eagle shits a dime. I can't imagine anyone less productive and more non profitable than employees in charge of "diversity and inclusion."
All those departments do is send out newsletters no one GAF about and makes teams decorate the break room cork boards to celebrate everyone who isn't white, male, or Christian.

The benefit is they provide CYA evidence against employment discrimination lawsuits, which are abundant in our judicial system.
It's the same thing with all of these powerpoints they send out and trainings and seminars they make you attend or complete.
The company doesn't really care if you are a racist or misogynist. They care about losing a bunch of money in a lawsuit filed by a disgruntled employee they had to fire. And the best way to combat those lawsuits is to bring a bunch of evidence into court that says "look at all that we have done to promote racial and gender inclusion and provide a safe, happy workplace."
