Discussing this situation with friends and a disagreement evolved:

If an MSJ has been granted in Louisiana, would you then file a supervisory writ OR an appeal?

Code language affirming your response would absolutely secure victory.

Thank you, sirs!

TMJ is bad enough, a MSJ must be very painful.

Before I answer, I'll need you to wire my retainer fee.

You should ask Dudley DuBosier

They’re the official attorneys of the LSU Tigers

If it results in a final judgment dismissing a party = appeal.

There's really only one lawyer question we have any bizness asking the OT: Does anyone know a good one?

Depends on number of parties, number of claims, what the Judgment actually dismissed. If it dismisses all claims against a party, then it is probably an appeal.

Stop trying to handle your own case and hire a real lawyer. You got bounced on MSJ because you should have hired a lawyer

Just to be safe I would file both. Also consider a writ of fifa.
