Yet again more proof democrats don't understand basic economics.

My guess is this really has less to do with rewards (which have gone on for years) and more to do with retailers passing on credit card fees as surcharges (which has exploded of late).

Fees really haven't gone up all that much, but with other expeses going up, retailers are trying to pass it on now.

So these Democrat fools beleive that if they can somehow ban / tax credit card rewards, then companies will stop offering them, and fees will come down, and retailers will stop passing on those fees.

None of that will happen. Credit card companies will just keep the higher fee income, have more profit, and retailers will continue to pass on the charges.

I wonder if EBT and all of the other freebies the deadbeats live off of from our taxes are taxed? Anything free or discounted for them should be taxed, too.

Well... that would be the government taxing itself... so doesn't make a lot of sense.
