Not that I know of.
Some Christians got all pissy cause she promoted her album on Ellen. However...they don't realize that she knew Ellen from when she was a contestant on American Idol.
Honestly though...I think Lauren's message is great as a Christian. She is spreading God's message to love and be kind to one another. Just because Ellen is gay doesn't mean Lauren should shun her and refuse to be on her show. It was a great platform for non-believers to hear her singing.

That might have been it. I just remember seeing some crap on facebook and I don't pay much attention to most of that stuff. I don't know much about her other than she has a beautiful voice and is related to LSUDad and Daughter.

She was asked if she thought homosexuality was a sin. She basically deflected the question and said she “wasn’t God” and that there were people she loved who were gay. People ragged on her. Apparently they wanted her to say they are all going to hell instead of it’s between them and God.

I read other comments that some Christians feel she doesn't dress modestly enough. They were getting pissy cause her shoulder is bare in one of her photos promoting her new album(think it was on a billboard).

I've only met him once irl iirc. However...he grew up down the street from my dad when they were kids. And used to go to the same church as my aunt and uncle on my mom's side of the family. So he knew many of my family members. And you know him...he remembers everything.

Some Christians can be the most petty people there are. FWIW I feel the same way about gay people. I think it is disgusting and completely wrong. But it is not up to me to tell them what the Bible says about it, they know. Their used to be a very active poster on here who was gay but was also a devout Christian. Apparently from other posters he died still conflicted because he knew what the Bible teachings were but at the same time couldn't deny his sexual feelings. I really feel sorry for that dude, I pray that he got peace in some way.
