Looks like the Casino area has power back. That's been a major staging area for the linemen and other disaster relief so not surprising I guess.

They were working diligently at the sub station there all day yesterday.

Stout if you’re looking at the Entergy outage map and you plug in your address, make sure to zoom in. We showed that we had power in subdivision, when I zoomed in we didn’t.

Talked to a lineman this morning and he claimed they expected power to both side of Ryan street today or tomorrow.

Any idea how far north to south that’s supposed to be?

Yea I noticed that in several areas on the map. I don't plan on going back until it is like 80% restored because they are saying you can have it one day then gone the next while the restoration takes place.

I talked to my son yesterday and they were somewhere between Sulphur and Moss Bluff, he didnt know exactly. Anyway, they are still chugging along. He had no idea how much longer they will be down there but expected another couple of weeks at least. Keep the faith and hopefully they will get you turned on sooner than later.

The plan has also been working West to East so makes sense. You have to assume it was easier to restore out there too with much of it underground.

They are busting arse. Everyone in the community is humbled and thankful for their hard work. Not sure we’ll have the opportunity to fully express our gratitude, so please pass the sentiment, sincerely. I’m impressed overall with the recovery, but mostly with these linemen.

What they're doing on lake street today is astounding

I'm not down there but my company has an office on Lake Street. Earlier today the network monitoring software started showing all of the equipment come back online. I was impressed as I figured it would be a couple of more weeks before that building had power again.

Got the power back, but ac won’t kick on. It might be fricked.
But, only two weeks and got power, what they are doing is amazing.

Amen. Really impressive. Thank them and offer drinks, snacks or whatever they would like every opportunity

Been doing the same. They're provided with water but they love Gatorade and powerade

How’s everyone doing on power restoration? I got word late yesterday the pole directly in front of my house still hadn’t been replaced, so still looks to be a while for me, not that the house is habitable anyway.
Also, any other recs for water restoration companies? Still have had no luck.

My parents in the Prien/country club area got power last night. Is out in Iowa are looking at another week though. The transmission lines are out in the fields and they are having a tough time getting the equipment out there.

I’m assuming that probably doesn’t bode well for areas of Moss Bluff either.
Happy for those who are restored thus far, but I bet you’re gonna start seeing a lot of pissed off people to the East.
