Lake Charles and Bulk Terminal gauges above their previous peak and appear to be rising.

Hopefully it loses steam rapidly.

I can’t sleep because I’m scared of a tree falling on me. I know it’s a weird thing to be most afraid of, but that’s my biggest fear — at least weather related. These tall red and white oaks freak me out. And I’m not even near hurricane winds

Nearing the eyewall here, can feel the windows pulsating in out with the pressure changes. This storm packing a punch.

That's just the push across Lake Charles from the west wind that's now blowing. There's no water rising out of the south which would be the real issue.

Reed is back. Said he’s going to drive to the coast to see the storm surge.

Wish John would slow down to show some of the damage they're talking about. Tons of power lines down near the casinos. Said a few buildings that had roof blown off near there but they didn't show shite

How's the weather up there? You should be just starting to get over the hump. Also, have you ever tried to cut red oak? It is like cutting concrete.

Good luck.

There’s a few places in Lake Charles that still have power after 137 mph winds. Like a rock like a freaking Chevy truck.

It’s not bad at all. Every now and then some gusts come through.

No. Never tried to cut red oak.
