I really don’t understand why anyone that has the ability to leave New Orleans chooses to stay. The city has never been the same since Katrina and what’s left has become this warped idea of what yankee transplants think New Orleans culture is.

For me it is better than anywhere else in the area. And I will be staying in the area for the foreseeable future.
It doesn't work for everyone, but none of the BS everyone touts really touches me, so I can ignore it.
