This half arse shite is getting people sick and costing them money. You either do nothing to ensure businesses stay afloat or you shut everything down for 2 weeks to ensure it passes quickly. Instead we sit in the middle with people still getting sick and losing money.

People are upset about this as if everything is shutting down.. But people can still go get shite they need.
IMO doing "lockdowns" will be better longterm.. If people just stay home, not interact in big groups, etc.. And just wait it out for 14 days.. The quicker things will get back on track. The longer there is a half arse lockdown where people are still about to go into stores and any other opportunities where groups of people will be over a certain period, that will still allow it to spread to some people..

The problem is you will never be able to enforce a lockdown without arresting people. That would only tax the government more and cause other issues.
