Citizen,
Why always the personal insults. The simple fact remains, the US has wasted 200 billion on this nonsense. 100s of thousands of people have died needlessly and yes nuland was an integral part of that.
And she was a catalyst for a select few making obscene amounts of money off this disgrace.
But at the end of the day Russia will still prevail, the Donbas and Crimea will remain with the motherland....and zelensky will retire to his 70 million dollar vineyard at US taxpayer expense (when he is not at his other numerous villas or yacht).

Key Takeaways:
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed on September 10 that Iran has sent short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) to Russia amid growing international condemnation of Tehran's support for Russia's war in Ukraine.
Russia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) continue to pursue various avenues of military-technical cooperation.
Ukrainian forces conducted a large series of drone strikes in Russia on the night of September 9 to 10.
US President Joe Biden stated on September 10 that the presidential administration is working on lifting restrictions on Ukraine's ability to use US-provided weapons to strike military objects within Russia.
The Kremlin is reportedly allocating roughly 59 billion rubles (about $648 million) to strengthen its technical ability to restrict internet traffic on its sovereign internet.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced in Kursk Oblast amid continued Ukrainian offensive operations in the area on September 10.
Russian forces recently advanced near Kreminna, Siversk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Donetsk City.
The German-based Kiel Institute for the World Economy published a report on September 9 warning that Russia has significantly increased its defense industrial base (DIB) capabilities since 2022 and that depleting weapons and equipment stockpiles may not significantly impact future Russian DIB production.

Now the US is going to allow our weapons to be used in Russia. Thats a great strategy, lets see how that plays out. They have been using them for a year now in Crimea.....
But Russia has their navy to defend Crimea…….err nevermind.
They have a great bridge to supply Crimea from the mainland …… err nevermind

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 11 September 2024
On the 05 September 2024, the UK National Cyber Security Centre publicly assessed that the Russian Military Intelligence (GRU) Unit 29155 have been responsible for a series of offensive cyber operations targeting victims globally since at least 2020. At least some of the group's cyber operations have almost certainly been aimed at supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Operations have included the 'WhisperGate' destructive wiper malware, which was used against Ukrainian targets in 2022. Other activity has included website defacements and network scanning for espionage purposes. WhisperGate was previously attributed to the Russian state; this new advisory specifically links the attack to GRU Unit 29155.
Unit 29155 is assessed to be responsible for attempted coups, sabotage and influence operations, and assassination attempts throughout Europe. Offensive cyber operations therefore mark a development in the capabilities of Unit 29155. This further highlights the value the Russian state places on cyberspace in the context of their invasion of Ukraine.

There are all kinds of reports coming out about the Russian attack south from Korenevo in Kursk, including reports that Ukraine has now made another border crossing into the Glushkovo district.
It will be interesting to see how the next few days shake out, but I thought that things there were in the process of settling down into something closer to trench warfare, and that is very much not the case.
EDIT: I think that it's safe to assume, though, that the Russian attack had some success.

John Hellin posted a map of the verified gains and the claimed gains, and the chief Foreign affairs correspondent for the WSJ said Russia took back something like 1/10th of Ukraine's total gains overnight, possibly more.

How long do you predict that will take?
Week? Month? Year?
This post aged like milk left on the counter given last night's operation.
Also, do you really think your response is some kind of gotcha when all they said was that they have "started" clearing Kursk?
The whole "give us a definitive timeline" act, especially when the original claim doesn't involve a timeline, makes you look not only like a snarky a-hole, but a dumb one as well.

You realize he's mocking Lima because Lima is the poster most likely to give a definitive timeline, right? For example, Lima said last year around this time that the war would be over by Christmas of 2023, with Ukrainian combat power exhausted. That didn't turn out to be the case, but of course, that hasn't given Lima any pause as he continues to make insane prognostications.
Maybe for once just sit a post out. It will be alright. This thread has survived just fine without your insight.

Turkish President Erdogan calls for the return of Crimea to Ukraine.
Turkey is the largest home of Tatars displaced by Russian ethnic cleansing of Crimea with millions of Turks of Tatar descent.
Of course, Ergodan isn't going to bring up ethnic cleansing given Turkey's history of the same. To be fair, nobody gave it much thought while it was going on.

Also, due its geographical location, Turkey has played both sides for at least a century and however it might benefit it. Turks own agricultural businesses is both Russia and Ukraine, especially oil seed crushing plants.

It’s legitimately crazy how none of the posters here have said they want the war to end. Only a select few of us have stated that.

I for one prayed the war would never start.

Well they want it to end, just with a bunch of conditions that will likely never happen.
It’s gross to see people who think so highly of themselves fall into propaganda, be it Russian or Ukrainian. We have plenty of both happening here.

Piece of trash liar.
Almost everyone here has repeatedly said that they want the war to end.
The difference between you and me is that you want the war to end with a victory by an enemy of America, and I want it to end with a victory by an ally of America.

Leaders in both parties are now openly attacking the stupid Biden policy. This is the Democrat head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee:
