What would it take to convince you the realities of what Russia has done? It certainly hasn't been video. Pics haven't helped. Hell, the US and Western intelligence coming out and saying that Russia is purposefully hitting civilian targets isn't enough?
What, exactly, is enough?

How much combat have you been in, specifically urban combat?

Here we go with this again. I'm not doing it, comrade.

I haven't been in urban combat, or any sort of combat, but the guy you're having a hissy fit over has. So I think his opinion carries a lot more weight on this subject than yours does.

That's why I use it. I like to feel sophisticated. I'll keep using it whilst Geauxxx keeps fricking off.

Are you though? Why don’t you start out with coloring books and let us know how that works out before you start assessing battlefields.

Urban combat ROEs are extremely touchy. Doing everyday things in everyday places can present like hostile action.
Whilst I have a lot of concern for civilians I also understand the position that soldiers are in. This is especially true if they went to war thinking they were going on a training mission. I also don't know how much Russian high command even bothers with tight rules of engagement.

The leasing companies are in a bad place. Russia can’t pay them for this month, SWIFT, and the leasing companies owe the Russian airlines a breach of contract fee, unless the force majeure clause protects them.
This airspace restrictions are also going to trap a lot of these aircraft in Russia, and it’s going to be a pain getting them back. The Russian won’t be behind the stick to do it.
Also, what do you do with a large fleet of aircraft and no customers that want them?
I assume they’ll declare bankruptcy.
It is of course a disaster for the Russians too.
I had been planning a trip to Moscow, so I looked at my options again yesterday, factoring in the sanctions. Serbia and Turkey are the best bet. But there’s no way either can scale up to meet demand.
