I don't care what you believe, but the data about demographics is from the Russian Federal State Statistic Services (as all demographic data is collected and reported by government entities) and that data shows collapse. The number of ethnic Russians is lower now than it was in 1970, which isn't a good thing.
The timeline of demographics is long-term, and obviously long-term thinking isn't your strong suit.

It's a net positive from an economic perspective, because you have to replace workers to have a functioning economy. Capitalist economies are designed around growth and need growing populations to sustain themselves. Immigrants tend to buttress TFR rates as well, which decreases the need for further immigration for about 2-3 generations.

What? I brought up demographics to point out that the long-term military aims that Lima dreamed up were going to be undermined by demographic issues, as in the long-term.
