Where are you hearing that? Isn’t there a major attack a city in the south going on right now?

Daniel Lippman @dlippman · 3h “[W]hile Ukraine sent its defense minister and other top officials, the Russian delegation was led by Putin’s adviser on culture — an unlikely envoy for ending a war and perhaps a sign of how seriously Moscow took the talks.”...

Yeah, sounds like Putin is really serious about finding a way to end it.

If you believe in biblical prophecy, I think something is afoot here with this guy.

If he survives this mess, he will be hailed a hero in Europe.

The AntiChrist rises at the expense of three "kings", being the little horn from a federation of states congregated in this exact region of the world.

He would be hailed a hero in Europe and believed to be invincible. He would immediately be given the chance to lead whatever new iteration of NATO is born as a result of this conflict.

I could definitely see a new federation of countries states coming as a result of this conflict with NATO phased out.

He is of Jewish descent. Important because the AntiChrist would be hailed as the Messiah by the Jewish people.

The world is seemingly supporting him against his struggle. He is a performer, with a magnetism that draws people to him.

I'm just saying...fishy. Some things kind of align here.

He ends up dead next week, just forget I wrote this.

He comes out on top....well...just follow him a bit.

Oh horseshite. The Jews don't trust anyone involved in this shitshow. Israel has thus far refused to help Ukraine in any way.

Now, that's enough entertainment of that madness.

Putin’s adviser on culture —

Something is lost in translation with this. To a westerner it sounds like he's in charge of art and music. He's really Putin's chief ideological theoretician, which has been historically a very important post in the Soviet system. He's been deeply involved in the Ukraine situation since at least the first invasion. Now it may be an indication of how cynical Putin is that he puts one of the most complicit people in charge of negotiations, but he is a very high level guy.

I was wondering how long it would take for people to go from talking about "globalists" to just coming out full-on antiSemite.

When Zelensky won his election he said this in his inaugural address to Ukraine.

quote:

"I really do not want my pictures in your offices, for the President is not an icon, an idol or a portrait. Hang your kids' photos instead, and look at them each time you are making a decision,"

A few members of the Russian Parliament speak out against the war.

quote:

Three members of Russia’s rubber-stamp Parliament have criticized their country’s war in Ukraine, a rare episode of dissent from within the Russian establishment.

All three members belong to Russia’s Communist Party, which is nominally part of the opposition to the governing United Russia party but typically remains loyal to President Vladimir V. Putin on key issues.

The latest member to speak out, Vyacheslav Markhaev, wrote on his Facebook account on Sunday that, under the pretext of recognizing two separatist enclaves as republics, “we hid plans to unleash a full-scale war with our closest neighbor.” Markhaev is a senator from Siberia.

He and the other two Communist members had been among the majority of Duma deputies who voted in favor of a recent resolution recognizing the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic. But in his Facebook statement, Mr. Markhaev said that Duma members were not informed of plans for a full-scale invasion, and that he believed a government decree saying troops would be sent in as peacekeepers
