Yeah they did.

Not 10 days like these idiots keep mentioning. Yeah I’d say Russia has done pretty good for 1 year in a huge country

I remember a bunch of pro-Ukrainian sources claiming this never happened.

I’d say no compared to past historical wars. I’d consider it pretty good if they hadn’t lost the Kherson and northeast areas so easily
As it is, I’d call the war a stalemate to date.

We, the most powerful military, spent 20 years to never fully control afg. This isn’t a stalemate at all as they continue to gain and destroy Ukraine

And if the CIA was going to do some kind of disinfo campaign, I doubt that they would try to do so through a Minecraft Discord channel.
Did someone in the US Government really leak all of this? If so, why?

Hopefully to wake ppl up, turn off the money printer and save lives before we have to fight.

Did you just try to compare an insurgency against a conventional war???
For reference, I believe it took the us led coalition approximately 2 months to completely topple the taliban and scatter them into the mountains.

The Taliban didn't have 27 NATO countries depleting their stockpiles to supply them with western weapons, while also providing them with a constant flow of intelligence, & training.

And that’s why the taliban is the govt of Afghanistan now. Because we destroyed them

You fricking idiots. It’s all a money laundering operation. Just like the last 25 years. Why do you think they hate Trump???
Both sides are beneficial…fricking morons.

Are you implying the taliban would’ve lasted for longer than a year against the us if it would’ve had the backing of 27 NATO countries?
I don’t understand your point.

I never said we won. I said we toppled their government within 2 months.
The fact that they ended up still in charge leads even more credence to the fact that you shouldn’t be comparing an insurgency against a conventional war. They’re completely different things and it’s a poor argument to make.

You don't think if the Taliban had nearly 100,000 anti-tank weapons, HIMARs, hundreds of SAM systems, etc. it would've been a lot more difficult?

No. I think the U.S. led coalition would’ve still steamrolled them.
The afghanis aren’t conventional fighters. They got wrecked by the U.S. and the soviets when they actually fought conventionally.
Don’t confuse hit and run tactics and waiting around until your invaders lose economic incentive to be in your country with being able to field an actual army and fight.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 08 April 2023
Russia's campaign to severely degrade Ukraine's unified energy system (UES) within the 2022-23 winter has highly likely failed. Russia has conducted long range strikes since October 2022, but large-scale attacks have become rare since early March 2023. Smaller scale strikes (with fewer than 25 munitions) continue, but are highly likely having much less impact on the UES.
Ukraine's network operating companies continue to source replacement transformers and other critical components. Transporting and installing these components is a major logistical challenge, especially high voltage transformers which weigh at least 100 tonnes.
Ukraine's energy situation will likely improve with the arrival of warmer weather. Planning and preparations for next winter have likely already begun.

It wasn't here that claims it didn't happen were made.
BTW, Ukraine was likely using Metal Shark riverine boats made in Louisiana. We know that Russia has been using it for staging and armed the area even before this was written.

Polish based friend is saying that the Poles are really pissed off at the USA. The logistics were planned by the Poles as well, not the US.

This is another reason nobody likes this war/thread, you can’t let others on here unless they’re in favor of Ukrainian freedom, yet you don’t support our opinions and input in a free country on a message board.

This all seems too easy. I think its disinformation before the attack begins. But, whether it is or not its got to make your enemy spend lots of time studying it.
