Just cracked open an ice cold diet Coke. Finished the first draft of my next book and since I write long-hand, I'm working on getting it typed up. BIL updated my computer yesterday, so I'm all good to go.

Yep...write the initial one line per chapter outline. Then the first draft is pretty much just a majorly expanded outline. Type it up triple spaced, add comments and highlight notes...print and go back for edits and expanded plot and story lines.
This one actually needs some fairly detailed research. Have one person I've been talking to about professional questions. Also need to talk to a coroner and a homicide detective. Looking forward to the coroner one, hoping he lets me swing a golf club and try to kill the dummy.
With any luck will have the draft typed up within a couple of weeks. Depends on how much time I have to devote to it and how motivated I am when I have the time.
When I'm a rich author, I'm hiring someone to do the typing on a regular schedule so I can keep up with it.
