Oh it’s been way more than 3 Times.
Been casually seeing her for several months now. We’d schedule “dates” at her place, and when we’d get together we’d have a lovely time.
But at least 50% of the time she’d flake. Not feeling well, family stuff, school stuff, whatever.
But it was so low/no maintenance, it wasn’t like I was investing a whole lot into it.
And every time she’d apologize and say that she really did want to see me, and we’d reschedule.
Well 3 nights this week, after having it planned all day, she flaked hours before i’m Supposed to come over. I point blank told her before that if she didn’t want to see me just tell me, it wasn’t going to hurt my feelings.
She swore up and down that wasn’t the case.
Tonight i’m just getting out the shower about to head over, and she flakes again saying she’s depresssed and doesn’t feel like doing anything tonight. Says she still wants to see me again.
I told her to have a merry Christmas

Ended a 10-year friendship with my old best friend for flaking on me 3 times in the same week. I have no tolerance for flakes.

That’s the thing, I don’t really care. I always have other options. She seemed like a genuine sweet girl though. She dated a buddy of mine years ago and he said she was always flaky then too.
And when I would see her none of the tells that she was seeing someone else went off either.
The whole thing is just confusing really. I know how to read the signs now and shite just doesn’t quite add up

She is probably the type who always wants something to do, but always keeps her options open as well. So instead of committing to something, if something else that seems more appealing to her comes up, she jumps shite. Hopefully she had a horrible time each time she flaked out.
