Having Mayor Brooms speak out about the inaccuracies that were initially reported by Silky and Gravy helped.
But make no mistake about it, the reason why this story is becoming more on a non-issue by the moment is because the police officer that killed the uncooperative criminal is a black man as well.

Speak for yourself. I'm organizing a protest at 5:00. Gonna drive all the way from work to home but I'm not stopping there. In the morning, I'm marching forward and going back to work again. All in the name of Calvin, because he would want it that way.

One of the quotes from Broome in an Advocate article this evening:
She doesn't want to dissect footage? What the hell is there to dissect?!
She just can't accept the fact that what the police said took place, is what really happened. She's really going to wait on "witness" statements? Does she just think they are going to say what was on footage? I guarantee you this woman will hold their statements in higher regard than the actual video footage.
