I thought it wasn't possible to determine where a specific tornado was on the scale until after the fact...since huge tornadoes can be less powerful, and smaller tornadoes more powerful.

yeah, the EF scale is based on damage so it's not really possible to give an accurate rating until the damage is assessed

but there are techniques to estimate based on wind speed and other measurements

We had some hail in the northern part of OKC today around 4:15-4:30. Rental car is dinged up a little. Otherwise the weather was okay.

Sorry to hear there were fatalities to our south.

I know this... but these guys aren't amateurs... I'm assuming they would have a good idea just looking at it
