Air bag suspension and McIntosh 19 speaker system.

It’s is simply amazing.

I would go 19 or newer.

While it almost never presents itself in the south, nissan had a misaligned oil jet on cylinder 7 that can cause engine failure. However, if under the factory warranty, they'll put a new long block in it for free.

Once they corrected that issue, it's a nice v8.

They are the best, cheapest full size SUV you can buy, and depreciate quickly so they are affordable with plenty of life left. Don't buy a new one!

Used Lexus GXs are exceptional vehicles and a real value, but are nowhere near a full sized SUV. I'll probably get my daughter one once she's old enough to drive.

You can't touch a Land Cruiser/Lexus LX for the same price and miles as a QX80/Armada, and the Toyotas are quite a bit smaller.

Plus 33's are stock, you can run 35x11.5s without a lift, and the 5.6L V8 is a master work.

All over the nissan forums.

I personally got a smoking deal on a 2nd gen nissan itan, paid dealer to scope cylinder seven, showed scoring, bought it for cheap cheap.

That was 50k miles ago

Have upgraded everything I want on it except new wider bed sides and wider front fenders.

Just waiting on engine to hiccup. Then harrop supercharger on a new motor and newish trans. Should be a raptor R killer, at a third the price.

Great vehicle. Mrs. Tantal drives one. I wouldn't call it "large" though.

Armada and Durango are surprisingly reliable especially from the brands they come from. They also depreciate like absolute dogshit so used ones are very affordable. The V8 Durango does have the hemi tax, but a v6 is down right cheap. A platinum armada is nicer than the infinity version imo, but it’s still ugly. I don’t care about the looks of my SUV’s. Don’t buy either of those new though!!!

rule of thumb is to avoid GM's 8 speed transmission, try to get the 6 speed

Trim level makes very little difference. My office quotes lots of vehicles daily. Brand and model model vary more than trim level
