Wow...thought it was just me. The lady I spoke to was very nice, but didn’t sound the least bit surprised that my package was lost in transit.

You would have to think that no one in the chain of command that decided BR was a good location was from anywhere close to Louisiana. If there were someone from La in that loop that person needs to be fired. The Gaza Strip would have been a better location.

Flex hiring = I’ll apply, show up and have my car filled with packages, drive back to my house, profit

Sign you live in a complete shithole city. Amazon can't even function correctly there.

Amazon here has billboards all over(even in not the best areas) advertising they are hiring for jobs.....and paying 15-22/hr for the jobs. Yet I still get all my deliveries on time(actually last few have come early)

The location is good.

The site probably not large enough.

Then the oversight of the employees along with training is probably poor.

All this equals failure where people will move their Xmas shopping to other websites.

I have had zero issues with Amazon. Now that Baton Rouge is up, my last package has been lost.

Just had one of my recurring deliveries canceled because according to Amazon it was "undeliverable".

... even though I had about 5 other orders come in the past week.

Amazon needs to get their shite together. What a bunch of amateurs. BR is a world class place filled with hard working folks. Don’t take advantage of them Bezos you idiot.

Isn't an Arizona thing at all. It's a "living in a non shithole area" thing.

I'm sure many other areas in the US are not having Amazon issues

NTX seems good so far. As long as it's Prime, not an accidental china purchase...arghhh

Just had another package delayed yesterday. This morning got a text saying it would be delivered today. 36 minutes later got text saying package had been lost and can’t be delivered. Told to contact amazon for replacement or refund.

That’s 3 in a row for me that have been lost once it got to BR.

Not surprised br screwed this up. Why didn’t they put the distribution center somewhere better like Lafayette, Hammond, Covington, or on the other side of the river in west BR.

At this point it is better to place 2 orders for anything you want, because 1 of them won't survive the trip to your home.

Yep. I ordered something on Thursday, and it was supposed to arrive Saturday. Nope. My friend, who lives in the same neighborhood as me, ordered the exact same thing, from the same seller, an hour after me, and received his Saturday. Sunday morning comes, truck is in my neighborhood (supposedly with my package), and it says I'm 3 stops away. Later on, the truck is all the way across town. So I call distribution. They said there was a glitch with my app, but my package was on the truck, and would be arriving before 9:00. About 6:30, still no package. Get back on the phone with distribution. After about half an hour, they say it's "missing". They had to issue a refund, and then one-day ship the item, and I actually got it today. But it was probably delivered by UPS.

I don't understand what exactly in the ever-loving frick is going on over there, but it sure seems like they hired any ol' idiot off the streets. Until they start deducting refunds and promo discounts from their paychecks, nothing will change. I don't think Amazon realized just how stupid and apathetic the average person in Baton Rouge really is.
