Dismisses the estimate he doesn’t like

Uses another estimate (that he does like) in the same breath. Can’t make this shite up

Based on what? That’s how you feel?
No, unlike you I’m bringing actual data to the discussion

Based on what LIV Nashville and LiV Indianapolis actually produced

Also comparing it to a pga event that is played here that doesn’t even produce that number

So it drops three financial numbers but you're totally cool believing the first two because they helps your point but ignore the third because it doesn't suit your argument. Got it.
You're right. I think it will cost more to fix up the golf course. And no one mentioned security costs.

On the surface I think this would be a good move if we can get similar results that we get for the zurich. I have a feeling this will be like the slidell casino or movie credits where people subscribe to one side and one side only. One would think we could get a $7 million return into the local economy and some good PR from this

Regardless of how I feel about LIV personally, I truly would have no logical argument for them coming to Nola without the issue of the state forking up money

How, like always, is Louisiana the damn only one sticking the rod up its own arse here? Why are we the ones paying LIV to come here, and paying them in the millions?

Louisiana is looking to spend at least $7 million in public funds to bring Saudi-owned @livgolf_league to New Orleans in 2026.

The ForeKids foundation just raised 4 million in charity and put on a PGA event without millions of state dollars.

And they got to keep the money. Under this agreement, the State/City would.

Dude come on man. Saying it will have a 60 million annual economic impact is insane. Completely insane and I showed real world support why that is crazy

And the first two numbers aren’t estimates, that’s what the state is factually showing is an agreement. The only estimate is the 60 ‘million. So yeh, that’s the only number worth questioning

I rarely agree with you, but you're spot on here.

That 60 million dollar number is a complete fabrication and means absolutely nothing.

Is it possible that LA is simply not a desirable destination for many entities? Or at least way down the list of preferred options.

I am serious when I say this, agreed. Do the up front legwork and they will pay off.

Pretty much this. Sins of the father so to speak. If we want nice things here we have to pay for them

Then you don’t get the tournament that will be a net positive financially for the city. Pretty simple
