At his mental capacity, maybe he thinks that we got cool pump motors that shoot fire. Hell for all we know he probably thinks the rest of them run on lasers and flux capacitors.

13 pumps or 13 stations? That's a huge difference.

Is there any flooding in the city now? Someone said Carrolton, but I haven't seen that reported anywhere

My friend who lives near Napoleon Ave. says he has flooding near him. I'm sure there is some other floods around the city too.

You forgot the picture of Mary crying behind her.

You know Mary?

The other member of the Landrieu family fricking this state into the ground.

A reminder of how useful she was during Katrina. From Bush's Decision Points

Heard something earlier about the LSU-BYU game officials ruling out moving the game to the Superdome because of concerns about the city's drainage ability, or lack thereof.

Seriously, is there a more dysfunctional city in America not named Detroit?

Just costs NOLA and the State millions in tourist revenue

Yeah, I figured this kind of thing. I just thought there was some sort of major flooding happening and no one talking about it

That's the question that should be asked.

On what information is he making this recommendation? If it's not a major threat, what is the true status of the pumps that makes him so concerned?

I wish I could find video of Mary, who always seemed to have a twitch or nervous tic when she stood behind Blanco
